10:55 am - Losing Time
So here's a weird one for you...

I've decided to cut out cheat naps. I don't think they help, and I can stand cutting them out.

4:25am - woke up from my 4:00 nap

7:00am - feeling pretty sleepy, go to sleep for my nap

7:25am - wake up feeling like a zombie

10:45 - find myself sitting in my office with nothing on the screen, and think "what the hell did I just do for the past three hours". I literally don't know.

I checked my motion detector logs, and it looks like I walked around the living room and kitchen, but spent most of my time in the office. I didn't go back to sleep in the bed at all. The log says I took a shower around 7:30. I vaguely remember that. The aquarium light is on now... I kinda remember that. I have a nearly completed bowl of cereal sitting to my left.

Maybe I fell asleep around 9:30 while sitting up... after that time there's no walks through the living room. I don't remember any sort of wake up though. Maybe I was just in a trance and passed the time. I really have no idea, but it's weird. Time for my 11, now.

07:43 pm - Ty - Consistency
I think it's super important to have consistent naps. For a while I was oversleeping, pushing them forward or backwards, and taking cheat naps. I didn't realize until now that before I started doing that I was waking up without my alarm two out of three times. Since becoming inconsistent I NEVER woke up without my alarm. For the past 3-4 days I have cut out cheat naps and been scheduling my naps more regularly, and have found that I wake up naturally more often.

Also, when I was inconsistent I would never feel more refreshsed after a nap... I would only become more awake during an awake cycle. Now I am feeling refreshed after naps too.
